Lauran is a certified birth and postpartum doula. She offers compassionate, evidence-based care to all clients because she believes that every new parent deserves to feel seen and heard during the life transition into parenthood

Lauran became a doula in 2021 after she experienced two very different births of her own. She is a mother to 2 girls. She loves to read, bake, and get outside with the family.

Hi, I am Lauran! My passion has always been helping families thrive which is what led me to pursue a Bachelor's of Science in Child and Family Development. I have two precious daughters that arrived by drastically different birthing experiences. My first pregnancy led to a fascination with pregnancy and birthing but it was after witnessing the birth of my niece that I knew I had found my calling. I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to all clients because I believe that every new parent deserves to feel seen and heard during the life transition into parenthood. I have extensive experience in supporting VBACS, inductions, physiologic births, cesareans and everywhere in between.

I provide services to families in the Northwest Metro Atlanta area, including but not limited to, Atlanta, Decatur, Marietta, Woodstock, Canton, Holly Springs, Cartersville, Roswell, Sandy Springs, Brookhaven, Powder Springs, Kennesaw and Smyrna. ​ My services are available to those birthing in hospitals, birth centers or home births attended by a trained midwife. I am an LGBTQ+ friendly birth provider welcoming parents of all races, religions and non-religious backgrounds.
