About Charity
In 2016, I discovered my true calling in postpartum care. At the time my family and I moved from Atlanta to the Las Vegas area (for a 2 year period) and I was seeking a new job opportunity and connected with someone who would become my trainer, mentor, and best friend. She introduced me to the world of newborn care, encouraging me to take on a daytime role caring for twins.
With just a quick 4-hour training in her home, I began the job and immediately fell in love with the work. Shortly afterward, I transitioned into overnight care, and it was during that time I realized my passion extended beyond caring for newborns—I truly enjoyed supporting, educating and working alongside the parents as well. My mentor, who was also a certified postpartum doula, encouraged me to pursue training with CAPPA, and I earned my certification as a postpartum doula. This journey has been life-changing, and I am deeply grateful for her guidance.
Growing up in a family of seven siblings, with five younger than me, I was often called upon to help from a young age. Now, as a mother of four, I have a profound understanding of the joys and challenges that come with parenting. These experiences shape the compassionate and personalized care I provide as a seasoned postpartum doula.
I specialize in overnight care, ensuring parents can rest and recharge while knowing their baby is in nurturing and knowledgeable hands. My goal is to guide, educate, and empower parents without judgment, helping them feel confident and supported in their decisions.
In my personal time, I love being outdoors, traveling, and cherishing precious moments with my own children.
Client testimonial:
"I’m so grateful for Charity’s support for overnight care. She educated me and my husband on many aspects of baby sleep and overnight care and gave us peace of mind to rest knowing our baby was in her care. I would recommend her to any mama who wants to make sure she feels knowledgeable and supported." - Tonya H
