About Kimberly

Kimberly is a graduate of Howard University with a Bachelors Degree in Biology. She is a trained doula through DONA International and certified by Morehouse College. Pregnancy Health Coach Certified through AFPA Fitness.

Kimberly’s mission is to guide women along the journey of becoming whole individuals by using evidence based work to strengthen their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual health.

It is crucial to understand the importance of a healthy mother. When a mother is healthy, there is a higher likelihood that the entire family will also be healthy. A healthy family leads to individuals who contribute more positively to society. The butterfly effect of a mother’s nurturing can extend far and wide.

Unfortunately, the reality is that we do not always see the benefits of healthy women in our society. This is evident in alarming statistics, such as African American women having the highest maternal mortality rate in the nation. Additionally, Haiti has the highest rate of maternal mortality in the Western Hemisphere. These statistics hit home for our Co-Founder, Kimberly Pierre, a Haitian American woman.

Client testimonial:

“Hosanna is the most special human you will ever have the privilege to know/ work with. She is knowledgeable, patient, kind and most of all her love, care and passion for her job and clients radiates like a warm sunshine. Having a doula and VBAC were something I NEVER thought I would be capable of having but thanks to her I was able to do both. I will never be able to fully put into words how grateful I am to have come across Hosanna and I cannot recommend her enough!! If you’re on the fence, do it! You will not regret it!”
