About Charlotte
Charlotte is a Certified Birth and Postpartum doula offering nonjudgemental support. Her passion is to help families navigate this time in their own unique way with openness and compassion. She has been passionate about birth, babies, and families since childhood, but decided to take a big leap in 2019 to start her official doula training.
Hi, my name is Charlotte Johnson. I am a mother to five beautiful daughters. Yep, you read that right—I have five daughters! I have been with my very supportive husband since 1999. We were only 19 when we met, and I knew after a couple of dates that he was the man I was going to marry. Our family loves going on new adventures. We do lots of things like hiking waterfalls, traveling to different mines to dig for crystals, minerals, and fossils, and visiting theme parks. Our favorite thing to do, though, is seeing the world through cruising. There is nothing better than stepping away from the craziness of life and spending quality time as a family.
I have spent the majority of my adulthood as a stay-at-home mom, taking care of my children and husband. I have also nannied on and off in my home throughout my children's lives. From the time I was a little girl taking care of my baby dolls and obsessing over my baby cousins, I knew that I wanted to not only be a mom, but that my future would involve working with babies.
I began my doula journey in 2019 after searching the web to figure out what I wanted to do now that my kids were getting older. I knew it was time for me to find something that makes me just as happy as being a mother. When I came across doula work, I knew that supporting expecting and new parents was what I was called to do. I am now a certified birth doula with ProDoula, Childbirth International, and ExpertRating. I am also certified with ProDoula as a postpartum and infant care doula. In addition to my certifications, I have completed a Rebozo course with Womb Wisdom.
I am dedicated to providing support to all families and embracing their diversity. I respect each family I serve, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, race, age, or cultural background. Every family looks different, and they all deserve equal respect, support, and love. My goal is to create a safe and inclusive space where everyone feels empowered, supported, and valued throughout their birth and postpartum experience.
